Duties and Responsibilities of Personal Representatives

Duties of Personal Representatives

May 2, 2015 This is a helpful little booklet which I have uploaded in PDF form giving insight into the administration process from the layman’s point of view.

It will hopefully be helpful to understand whether you are indeed a personal representative, or one wishing to know what the process entails.  The link is below. Notice the map which illustrates the administration process.  This is an easy way to envision the steps to be taken.

Changing for Retirement

As noted on the home page, this website is changing from my judge's perspective to a retiree perspective. Content relative to the court has been, and is being, removed.  Future posts will be of a general nature on subjects yet to be determined. Target date for non-judicial content is January 1, 2021. On that date, I will become a retired judge, and my Georgia Bar membership will become inactive.
